2009

Well it is January 15th and this is my first post in the New Year. Work really does take up too much time. I'm without TV tonight, we're switching companies. I'm very excited to join the rest of the world tomorrow... we're getting a DVR! I'm so excited I've been wanting one for about 2 year now. :-) I can finally watch Oprah when I want to, not worry about missing "How I Met Your Mother" and go to sleep without worrying about missing the end of whatever 9 o'clock show I'm missing.

On another note: I have started my year long project. I love to read scrapbooking magazines, you would know if you've read my previous post, and saw an idea I thought I might enjoy. It is called Project 365. The idea is to take a picture everyday and compile them into an album. I've tried a couple of times to explain to Paul why this would be fun but he just doesn't get it. I see it as a way to get myself to journal and keep track of the small everyday things. I already have co-workers asking what my picture of the day was. Of course in order to be able to do this I need to carry a camera with me ALL THE TIME. Which I don't mind doing already but I ran into the dilema...bigger purse for our nice camera or new smaller camera with more than 3.2 megapixels? I chose option 2 and used my Christmas money on a new little camera. Here it is:
I'm still learning how to use it but it is a great size. To go along with this idea here is my picture for today: It was a very foggy morning and the parking lot light cast a shadow the on the school playground. Pretty neat I thought.

I don't plan on posting very many. I'm keeping them but not neccesarily sharing them.

Great start on the pictures! We would like to see daily pics. The camera looks like ours--what is it? Paul took a 3:00 pic everyday in Italy--so what's not to understand, Paul?
