He talked me out of going in to work on Saturday to look for a little while. Well, it was the end of the month (did you know you get better deals on the last day of the month?) and it sounded a lot more exciting than cleaning up my room at school. We had looked at Toyotas a couple of weekends ago when our other Camry was getting an oil change. We didn't test drive, just sat in a bunch of Highlanders. They very comfortable, have seating for 7 and you can put a lot of stuff in them. I really like Highlanders and if money was no object would have loved to get a Highlander Hybrid.
So we went to Honda. Paul kept talking about CR-Vs. He has driven a couple of them and has a friend who loves theirs. I wasn't convinced. I guess I had a preconceived notion of what a CR-V was...but I loved it. If you're interested here is the official website: http://automobiles.honda.com/cr-v/. After thinking over lunch, test driving a Highlander and remembering how much more those were, we bought a CR-V.
When you look at this picture remember I was planning on cleaning up my room at school all day, not prepared for pictures.

Nice wheels!!!
Why is it called a "whip?"
sweet "whip". It's called that because all the power "whips" you back in your seat, right?
