I was reading a blog that I
follow where she was talking about her mom injuries and I thought, "I have a couple more to add." So here you go:
-Burper's back: A sore back from the slight arch you make to hold the burping baby just right. It helps to have the right kind of chair. I had this really bad in the NICU where, for some reason, the chairs were rather uncomfortable.
- I don't have a clever name but sore shoulders. It isn't a good idea to try to hold a baby for long periods of time without an arm rest. You end up with very sore shoulders, or at least I have.
- The too short changing table hunch: Changing table is too short and it causes the changer to hunch... this has caused my lovely husband to fall to the floor in pain, or he is just trying to get out of changing diapers.
That's all I can think of for now. Anyone else out there have other momjuries?
