Weekend

I had a great weekend. I spent time with my oldest friend, my sister Amanda, on Friday night and had a great time crowd watching at the Sundance.
There was a New Belgium rep there and I ended up coming home with a new Sunshine Wheat hat for free. :-) I had to make it an early night because I had a training in Longmont at 8 am on Saturday.

Saturday after a nice nap I went out with some new friends the I know from work. We went to the Rio for dinner and margaritas. The margaritas were great, I think because I haven't had one for so long. We then did the usual rounds...Lucky Joes, Zydecos and then Suite 152. It was a great night of dancing and getting to know new friends.





Then there is nothing like going back to work after a great weekend. Luckily today was "wear a jumper" day at work for the teachers. We always talk about the stereotypical teacher outfit of denim jumpers with letters and apples all over them so we decided to have a jumper day. I don't have a jumper...yet, so I had to borrow one from a co-worker. It was missing the teachery feel of the apples and letters but it worked.
There's nothing quite like wearing a jumper to make you feel older the day before your birthday.
